Charles Whittington received the award because of his help to all young people, as well as others. He started off in timed events where he won regularly. He then started showing pleasure and won regularly at that. He then tried his luck at racking, which he won 1st place in Western Gaied Flat Shod in 2001. He had the all around Champion in 2000. The main thing about Charles is, win or lose, he was the same person. Always enjoyed the sport and competition.
